Your Move, Step by Step

What’s Next?

From your first conversation to settling in, here is what to expect and what you can do at each stage. Your moving specialist is your point of contact whenever you need a detail explained.

Your Online Estimate

See Where to Sign and Pay

Your estimate email has a personal link to your MoveitPro customer portal. Open that link to review your move. The pictures below show an A to Z test estimate with our logo and pink portal design. The highlighted controls show where to open the agreement, sign, and see the deposit. Test dates and prices are examples only.

01

Open and review your estimate

Check your move date, locations, services, crew, price breakdown and protection choices. In the portal, choose Accept & Book Move to open the agreement and deposit window. Ask your moving specialist about any detail that needs changing first.

02

Review the agreement and sign

In the Accept & Request a Move Date window, confirm your preferred date, read the terms and check both agreement boxes. Use Draw or Type to sign in the marked signature area. The request still needs our confirmation.

03

Review the deposit and payment

The same window shows the deposit amount, any card convenience fee, and the total due today. The Payment area appears below. It unlocks after the agreement and signature are completed. Review the final total before entering payment details; keep your confirmation and receipt. Your moving specialist can help if anything looks wrong.

How You Know You’re Done

After you submit, verify these three things. This checklist is a guide, not a screenshot of a completed payment.

1Signature submitted

Keep a copy of your signed estimate and agreement.

2Deposit recorded

Save your payment receipt and check the deposit shown in your portal.

3Date confirmed by us

Your date request is complete when A to Z confirms the booking.

If a charge appears but you do not see confirmation, please call (216) 956-2448 or email us before trying another payment.

After You Speak With Your Moving Specialist

We use what you shared to plan the crew, truck, services and estimate. This is the time to make sure the plan reflects your whole move.

What to Expect

Your specialist will discuss the estimated work, timing, access, travel and preparation, materials and any additional services. You may receive an estimate and related documents to review and sign.

What You Can Do

Check each address, your preferred date, stairs, elevators, parking, extra stops, furniture and approximate boxes. Send photos of large or delicate items, and tell us about anything missing or changed before signing.

Take a moment with the numbers. An hourly estimate is a planning starting point; your final charge can change with actual billable time and agreed additions. Ask your specialist to explain each line before you book.

After You Sign and Pay Your Deposit

Your deposit is credited toward your final bill. A signed estimate and paid deposit secure your moving date when the office confirms your booking.

What to Expect

Keep your signed documents, payment receipt and booking confirmation together. Your specialist can review the agreed scope, arrival window, crew needs and any remaining details with you.

What You Can Do

Arrange parking and elevator access, check your building’s moving rules, label boxes by destination room, and make a plan for valuables, medicines, pets and anything traveling with you. Let us know promptly if your inventory, locations or timing change.

Plans changed? Local cancellation and rescheduling terms depend on the notice given before scheduled arrival. Out-of-state moves have separate terms. Review your signed agreement and contact us as soon as you know.

On Moving Day

Your crew lead will review the work with you before loading. This is the moment to point out priorities, fragile pieces, access restrictions and any items that need special handling.

What to Expect

For a move using our truck, billable time starts when the crew arrives at the loading address. The crew protects and moves items according to the agreed services. Travel between stops is part of hourly time.

What You Can Do

Have an adult available to answer questions, show the crew everything included in the move, and identify what stays behind. Keep keys, documents, medication and personal essentials with you. Walk through the pickup space before leaving.

If the scope changes, talk before the work proceeds. Extra inventory, access issues, stops or specialty work can affect the crew, time and charges. Your lead and office will discuss changes with you.

During Unloading

A few clear directions help the crew place your belongings where you need them and finish the agreed work.

What to Expect

The crew unloads and places items according to your moving plan. Ordinary furniture reassembly and placement are part of hourly moving work; time varies by item. Unpacking or settling-in help is included when arranged as part of your services.

What You Can Do

Show the crew the rooms and placement priorities, check that labeled boxes reach the right space, and identify any item requiring special attention. Before the crew leaves, walk through the truck and delivery areas with the lead.

Tell the lead about a concern while the crew is there. Note any visible issue or missing item promptly, and review the final paperwork and bill before completion.

After the Move

Settle in at your pace, keep your records, and reach out if a question comes up.

What to Expect

Payment is due at completion. Your final bill reflects the agreed work, billable time and applicable charges, with your deposit credited. Keep the signed documents, final bill and payment receipt for your records.

What You Can Do

Check items as you unpack. If you notice loss, damage or a service concern, document it and contact our customer care team. We will help you understand the next steps and applicable coverage paperwork.
