Home / Community appreciation
From our family to our community
You care for our community.
Let us care for your move.
To our seniors, those who serve, and the people who show up for our neighbors every day: thank you. At A to Z Moving and Driving, we’re grateful to be part of the community you help make home.
A small thank-you for all you give.
As a thank-you, eligible seniors, veterans, active-duty military, firefighters, police officers, paramedics and teachers receive 5% off hourly moving services on moves using our truck, whether or not packing is included.
Labor-only moves, travel/preparation, materials, specialty charges, tolls and parking are excluded. Discounts cannot be combined. Mention your eligibility when requesting an estimate, and present the identification described below. See our moving rates and what’s included.
For our seniors
Thank you for the years you’ve spent building families, friendships and the places we call home. Your belongings carry stories. Your preferences matter. You deserve a moving team that listens.
For veterans & active military
Thank you for your service and commitment. When it’s time for your own move, we’re here to help you work through the details and plan the support you need.
For firefighters, police officers & paramedics
You answer the call when others need help. Thank you for the responsibility you carry and the care you bring to our neighborhoods.
For our teachers
You help our children learn, grow and find their confidence. Thank you for the patience, encouragement and everyday effort you give to our community.
Ask about your discount when we plan your move.
Mention the discount when you call or request an estimate. We’ll explain the applicable amount and details for your move before you book. You can add a simple note such as “Please tell me about your senior discount” in your estimate request.
Proof of eligibility required: To receive a discount, please present identification. Seniors must present an ID showing their age. Veterans and active-duty military must present identification showing their veteran or military status. Firefighters, police officers, paramedics and teachers must present a work identification card showing their name and employer. Please present your identification to our team; do not upload or email a copy with your estimate request.
For seniors and the families beside them
A new stage of life deserves patience and care.
A move into a smaller home, a nursing facility or another supportive living setting is more than a change of address. It can mean leaving familiar rooms and deciding what comes next. We’re here to listen and help you through the moving part, one step at a time.
We’ll take the time to understand what matters to you, talk through the plan and coordinate the details with you and the people you choose. We want you to feel heard—not hurried through decisions about your own home and belongings.
Before moving day
Tell us which belongings are coming, who is helping coordinate and what the new facility requires. We can plan around access, elevator reservations, delivery windows and the space in your new room.
When you arrive
We place furniture in the intended rooms and handle agreed assembly. If you want more help, ask about unpacking boxes and putting dishes, linens or clothing away through our optional Help Me Settle In service.
We care about the people behind every move. Tell us what you need, what feels overwhelming and what would make the day easier. We’ll work through the plan together.

Care is part of how we work.
Our appreciation discounts are a thank-you to these members of our community. Listening, clear communication and thoughtful moving help are what we aim to bring to every customer.
